Control strategies
JE
Four main strategies have been used to control JE:
  • outbreak response,
  • human immunization,
  • mosquito control; and
  • pig control.

Human immunization is the most effective control strategy to reduce JE disease incidence. In addition, it is the most cost-effective. In this section, you will be able to compare each control strategy.
