Considerations for Introduction of New and Underutilized Vaccines
Vaccine items
This set of e-learning modules will help senior managers learn about new and underutilized childhood vaccines and the diseases they prevent. In these e-learning modules, you will learn:
  • whether your immunization programme would benefit from adding a new vaccine; and
  • how to introduce a vaccine and manage your programme once the decision has been taken to add the vaccine to your schedule.
Currently, two modules are available under considerations for introduction of new and underutilized vaccines:
  • Japanese encephalitis (JE);
  • and hepatitis B.
Over the next year, modules will be available on:
  • rotavirus; and
  • meningococcal meningitis.
